1. We listen and we watch

The first step is to gather information. An interview with the client is important. During the conversation and from the survey, we learn a lot of information that we must include in the project. We try to understand what style, colors or space the customer feels good in and how to functionally design the interior to make it comfortable for residents. We also look at the interior, and if there is no building yet, we go to the plot to see the surroundings. The view outside the window, the amount and quality of light entering the interior, and the surroundings are important. We analyze the design documentation, check which walls are load-bearing, where the installation risers are, what possibilities we have to introduce changes to the current building. If it is possible, we make an inventory, thanks to which we have the right dimensions in accordance with the real state.

2. We design – functional layout

First, we analyze the functional possibilities. We plan the space, we consider each zone of the house: the entrance, the daily common for all residents, the night, private and the zone with additional functions (cinema, recreation). We propose how these zones will connect with each other, how the residents will use them. We show the interior furnishings on the projection. At this stage, we try to offer several options to optimally adjust the functional layout to the customer’s needs. We present the proposed ideas at the meeting and discuss them. The effect of this stage is a specific functional layout that meets the needs of the client.

3. We design – visualizations

This is usually the most awaited stage of the project. Knowing what style of interior the customer feels best in, we try to design the interior in similar colors and climate. We mix the client’s needs with our idea for a given space. But this stage is not only about colors and materials. It is primarily about building a space that will surround the residents. We present the project and discuss it during the meeting. We find out which ideas the client identifies with and which ones still need to be rethought and improved. The result of this stage of the project is the visualization of the interior, showing spatial solutions, materials, colors and equipment.

4. First working drawings

Knowing what the project looks like, we can draw the first drawings for the teams. These are wall designs, electrics, water and sewage connections and others needed to start renovation works.

5. Selecting materials

At the time when executive drawings are created, we present proposals for specific materials and interior fittings. We count the necessary quantities of materials and prepare offers for previously selected proposals. We create a set of matching colors and shades for each room. We choose materials together, checking on samples whether everything fits together.

6. Detailed working drawings

Each room is carefully drawn. Each wall, the division of mirrors, the arrangement of paintings, the interior of wardrobes. The complete design includes drawings that are handed over to the teams implementing the interior (carpenter, glazier, locksmith and others).

7. Consultation of the project with the teams implementing the project

Drawings are the basis on which the project is implemented. Some elements require more detailed consultations with the contractor, selection of a specific system or technology.

8. Author’s supervision at the construction site

Often at the construction site it is necessary to meet different teams and discuss their work, which overlap. Such a meeting must not be complete without an architect who can once again discuss the project with the contractors. Thanks to this, all possible risks during implementation are discussed and there are no unwanted surprises during implementation.

9. Coordination of the project along with the construction schedule

If we want the construction to run smoothly and there are no downtimes, it is necessary to plan and create a construction and procurement schedule. We have a database of companies and shops with whom we cooperate and who enable us to plan the construction and then carry out orders in accordance with the earlier plan.

10. Pictures of the finished project

After the completion of the project, we take professional photos. And we all enjoy the beautiful interior and working together on the project!
